Protein Balls

1 cup peanut butter or almond butter
3/4 cup honey or agave nectar
1 cup oats
The next two are only if you have them, if not, it is fine!
4 scoops Fiber Booster (if you have it, you won’t even know it’s
is there, good place to sneak it into your diet)
4 tablespoons Flax Seed (another one to throw in if you have it,
just because it’s good for you)
1. Microwave peanut butter and honey in a
microwave safe bowl for 90 seconds.
2. Mix in Arbonne Protein Powder.
3. Stir in oats.
4. Wait for it to cool a little and roll into
tablespoon sized balls. Makes about 28.

Personal Care Poison
There are over 125 ingredients used in soaps, shampoos and cosmetics that are suspected of carcinogenic activities.
Following are the most dangerous and the most commonly used:
Diethanolamine (DEA): found in 600 home and personal care products such as soaps, lotions, cosmetics, bubble bath, laundry and dish washing detergents.
In 1997 the US Department of Health and Human Services National Toxicity Program found that when DEA was applied to the skin of rats there was clear evidence of carcinogenic (cancerous) activity.
Propylene Glycol: is a substance used in antifreeze solutions and hydraulic fluids as a powerful solvent. Also found in cosmetics, lotions, and even processed food.
Propylene Glycol has been shown in studies to be absorbed thru the skin and cause many problems such as kidney damage, liver abnormalities, skin cell growth inhibition, damaged cell membranes, rashes, respiratory damage, immune system deficiency and central nervous
system depression.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS): is the most common of the 3 chemicals but no less toxic. SLS is used as a surfactant to break down the surface tension of water. This degreaser is used in practically every soap, shampoo and toothpaste on the market today.
SLS has been used in studies to induce mutation in bacteria and to irritate skin. It has also been shown to enter the heart, liver. lungs and brain from skin contact and has been proven to maintain residual levels once inside these organs.

Most baby shampoos contain sodium lauryl sulfate; a
chemical responsible for the suds produced by most soaps. This chemical,
however, stings badly if it comes into contact with the eyes. Many believe that
baby shampoo manufacturers have turned to other chemical additives to help
neutralize this stinging. Tear-free shampoos aren't really tear-free, rather,
they contain other chemicals that work by numbing or paralyzing the tear ducts, reducing the reaction the eyes have to
the sodium lauryl sulfate.
The evidence behind this claim varies, but tear-free shampoos are being criticized more harshly for containing these chemicals that numb or anesthetize the tear ducts, therefore, making it "tear-free." If the tear ducts are temporarily paralyzed, they can't produce and excrete tears as they would normally.
